said Dacland Urban Designer,
Jacqueline Yuen.
Dacland staff enjoyed sharing
these events with purchasers,
and hearing their plans for their
soon to be built homes. Some of
the highlights at these events
included the handball competition
at Rothwell hosted by Western
Bulldogs players, Jake Stringer and
Tom Boyd, the exclusive virtual
reality experience of the King’s
Leigh Peoples Park operated by
Spiire, backyard cricket with the
Werribee Cricket Club and plenty
of delicious food.
“We look forward to meeting
our purchasers and hearing more
of their plans for their new homes
and communities over the year
to come,” said Crystal.
Last month Dacland
hosted ‘Meet your
neighbours’ events at
King’s Leigh in Werribee
and Rothwell in Tarneit
so future residents could
meet each other and get
to know the local area.
“It’s an exciting time when you
move into a freshly built home
in a brand-new community. We
hope these events will help get
people talking to each other and
checking out the fantastic area they
will be moving into,” said Dacland
Customer Relations Officer,
Crystal Perry.
Dacland has designed both
King’s Leigh and Rothwell with the
aim of connecting people through
pedestrian and cycle friendly roads
and providing open space for people
to gather within walking distance
of each home.
“We used the science of design to
encourage community interaction.
By providing residents with access
to open space and safer streets, we
are encouraging them to get out and
connect with their new neighbours,”
