“It’s an exciting time when you
move into a freshly built home in
a brand-new community. We hope
these events will help get people
talking to each other and checking
out the fantastic area they will
soon be moving into,” said Dacland
customer relations officer,
Crystal Perry.
Dacland has designed the
Villages of Rothwell to connect
people by promoting pedestrian
and cycle friendly roads and
providing plenty of parks for people
to gather within walking distance of
each home.
At the Villages of Rothwell,
homes are connected by landscaped
pedestrian paths and bike trails,
meandering along flowing rivers.
Shaded canopy trees and large local
parks will help create a comfortable
environment providing all residents
with easy access community spaces.
“We used the science of
design to encourage community
interaction. By providing residents
with access to open space and safer
streets, we are encouraging them
to get out and connect with their
neighbours,” said Dacland General
Manager of Design, Jonathon
Fetterplace.
Dacland staff enjoyed greeting
purchasers and hearing their plans
for their soon to be built homes.
We worked with Neighbourhood
Watch, Eseo and nbn co to provide
valuable information to purchasers
about the community that they
will soon be calling home.
“Our events are a great way for
purchasers to begin to feel at home
before they even move in,”
said Crystal.
Everyone needs
good neighbours
“I would simply advise them to do
plenty of research and plan ahead. There
are many steps leading up to the end goal
of moving in to your new home and it
pays to be prepared. This year Dacland
have created multiple resources to help
inform purchasers and guide them through
the process from community guides, to
informational videos, regular updates, our
Get Started Guide and so much more!
We want to guide our residents along the
way and help them plan and prepare for
their build.”
Crystal Perry,
Customer Care Officer.

MEET THE DACLAND TEAM
Recently Dacland hosted a ‘meet your
neighbours’ event at The Villages of Rothwell
so future residents could meet each other and
get to know the local area.
